RAFL Catch the Big Phish

Central Penn PiranhaPhila, PA; Today there was an unbelievable turn of events in the world of minor league football.  After conversations, rumors, and finally a meeting the RAFL (Regional American Football League) have pulled the biggest Phish of them all out of the football ocean. The Storied Central Pennsylvania Piranha by unanimous veteran player and coaches vote have decided to make a shocking change and have elected to become members of the RAFL for 2008. The Piranha, who are an incredible 126-1 at home, with a winning percentage .949 over the last ten years, and an astonishing team record of 190-12 over that time period will join the powerhouse 2007 defending NFE/USFA National Champion Monarchs and new York Predators (17-2) in anchoring what is becoming a stronger and more competitive RAFL seemingly every week.

“This is definitely something we didn’t expect to happen, especially this quickly” commented RAFL Commissioner Adam Turkel.

“We have always liked Charles (McGill) and Adam” commented Piranha Owner and Head Coach Ron Kerr. “Now that they have put the RAFL in a position with such a strong national playoff situation with the NFA and MLFA, it makes sense for us to make the move, we’re proud to be a strong future contributor to the growth of the league and associations we’re now a part of” he finished.

“We couldn’t be more proud of our product” said Charles McGill. “This goes to show how our hard work for our teams has paid off,  Having a team of the caliber of the Piranha come to us the way they did is very gratifying” he finished.
